This is absolutely brilliant!!! We had Peeps when the kids were little (my youngest is now 28) but all we ever did with them was eat them. I had forgotten all about them. Congrats on such a clever teaching technique but I will never be able to visualize the BofM characters except as Peeps now!!!
This is just the best thing EVER. I love the Peeps. Long live the Peeps.
You know at Halloween theya re selling ghost shaped Peeps now. You may want to stock up on some and save them for some new character ideas, like Angel visitng Alma the Younger?
Thanks for using the Peeps to tell about Mormons. Some other peep-loving sites: www.smashgfunk.blogspot.com; www.barringerupdate.blogspot.com; www.barringeriffic.blogspot.com. Check us out.
Hilarious!! This is the best FHE idea ever :). Thanks for sharing. I have to say that the gory demise of wicked king Noah is my favorite. My son says, "I like it when she got to eat King Noah and when King Noah was burned."
Absolutely hilarious. What a great idea, and what a funny person you are. These "stories" made me laugh. I think my two favourites are the "spacious building" scene and Ammon chopping off the arms to protect the flocks. Great stuff.
This will be a fun ice breaker on a week long camping trip with new friends! Do they behave like normal mallows when toasting over the fire? So fun to bring these stories alive for your children-they will remember them always with that kind of visual!! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

This is hilarious! Thank you for the good laugh.
Lots of fun! My kids loved this and suggest that you add some more--destruction of the Peepites, decapitation of Shiz, Ether hiding in a cave, etc.
This made my day! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!! Are you planning to do more? Here are my suggestions:
Teancum, Amalickiah, and the javelin--oh yeah!
Amlicites marking themselves red in the forehead
Lehi's family on the boat, in the storm
Thanks for the comments, all. I'm glad you enjoyed the page so far.
We definitely plan on expanding it, in a future family home evening. (Last FHE was the creation of these scenes, followed by eating of toasted peeps.)
I like the suggestions, Wells and Rebecca. We'll have to try to do some of those for the next batch. :)

I love this! I may have to try something like that for my boys for FHE and see what they come up with!

is it wrong to want to eat all the prophets? especially the one's that were toasted.
This is what I call a productive FHE.
